As I was trawling through the big wide web I came across a fascinating competition I’m considering entering because it’s brief is just so different from anything I’ve come across before. The International Year of the Potato (IYP) World Photography Contest ‘Focus on global food’ aims to promote awareness of the importance of the food source in developing nations.The contest stipulates that submitted images should represent one or more of the following topics: biodiversity, cultivation, post-harvest and processing, trade, marketing, consumption and utilization
