In 1989, two years after the arrival of the new EOS system in 1987, Canon launched the EOS-1, which was the first professional EOS camera.

Fast-forward to 2014 and Canon is marking 25 years of the EOS-1 range.

Since the original EOS-1, there have been a further 12 EOS cameras, including both film and digital models, with the EOS-1D X the most recent edition to the line-up.

Well done to Canon!
