Verbatim is launching the Pocket Drive, a stylish black 250GB portable 1.8” Hard Disk Drive which is small enough to slip easily into a trouser or jacket pocket or purse. The Pocket Drive is available in stores now.

Everyone prefers to buy things that look good.  Palm sized and weighing just 85g, the stylish 1.8” Pocket Drive allows you to carry 250GB of data with you wherever you may go – that’s equivalent to 113,636 photos, 62,500 MP3 music files or 500 videos* on a device no bigger than a mobile phone. Cased in an attractive black aluminium housing, the Pocket Drive is small enough and smart enough to fit perfectly with any get up.

Practical backup and synchronisation software
In addition to its visual and storage capabilities, the drive has numerous other features and benefits. A reassuring blue LED light illuminates when data is being transferred and the drive offers pre-installed Dmailer backup software with data encryption. Verbatim Syncronisation software is also loaded on the drive which allows data to be synchronised with ease between the home PC and the external hard drive. The Sync software works with files of all types and provides synchronisation of mail boxes and web site details such as the favourites that are saved in the Browser.
