Samsung launches the Galaxy NX with 4G and Android
Samsung introduce 4G and Android technology into their latest CSC, the Galaxy NX
Samsung has announced its latest CSC, the Galaxy NX, which features 3G/4G LTE technology, Wi-Fi connectivity and Android applications. Expanding on the success of the GALAXY camera, which launched early last year, Samsung is driving forward to ensure its cameras offer smart connectivity solutions to photographers. Vice President of IT & Mobile Division at Samsung UK & Ireland, Simon Stanford says, â€śWeâ€™re excited to be leading the way in innovation with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy NX. The aim of this device is to combine the high image quality associated with the NX camera with the ease-of-use and speed of the 4G capability with Android. This is perfect for taking incredible images and sharing them quickly.â€ť
The Galaxy NX stands out from it competitors, thanks to the inclusion of 3G/4G LTE technology that now enables photographers to share their images instantly online and to other smart devices while on the go. With Android 4.2 Jelly Bean also featuring, itâ€™s possible for users to download Android apps directly onto the camera too, expanding its functionality alongside its shooting and sharing possibilities.
In addition to its smart tech features, the camera comes packed full of impressive specs including, a 20.3-megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor, a DRIMe IV Image Signal Processor and an Advanced Hybrid Auto Focus system. There are also more than 30 Smart Modes available, which promise creative and professional image outcomes to all users. Alongside stills capture, the camera is also able to record full 1080p HD video.
The Galaxy NX is also compatible with Samsungâ€™s range of existing NX lenses, which includes a selection of prime and zoom lenses, as well as specialist optics such as fisheye and 3D.
