HP Offers Adobe Creative Suite 5 on Award-Winning Z Series Workstations

HP today announced that the latest versions of Adobe®’s Creative Suite 5 software can now be added as optional component to its award-winning series of Z Workstations. This includes Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium.
Built with customers’ needs in mind, HP Z Workstations offer the latest technologies from professional graphics solutions to built-in high-definition audio and work with applications such as 3D animation, photography and broadcast video with ease and precision.
Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium software takes full advantage of the Z series 64-bit operating system, new Intel Xeon processor technology and 3D graphics. By integrating Adobe CS5 into the Z Workstations offering, HP is able to provide all the components required in a productive, creative workplace with a single order.
“Our workstation customers have a need for powerful 3D graphics manipulation, high-resolution displays and can now benefit from the performance of Adobe Creative Suite 5 Production Premium software out of the box,” said Kobi Elbaz, client solutions and workstations business unit director, HP Personal Systems Group, EMEA. “HP Workstation customers are looking for the best in performance and reliability now offered in our latest Z series.”
The Z series comes with a choice of professional displays ranging from 55.9cm (22”) to 76.2cm (30”), including a DreamColour display for colour critical applications. Adding to the already powerful line up of HP performance Displays, the latest addition, the HP ZR30w S-IPS LCD display provides 30-bits per pixel colour resolution and 1.07 billion displayable colours, achieving more than 64 times the colours available on mainstream LCDs. The result is a fluid, real-time editing experience with additional effects, multiple layers or ultra high resolution content.
According to IDC, HP is the industry leader with 47.5 percent of the personal Workstation market in EMEA.(1) Customers moving to the Z series can take advantage of HPs continued innovation in areas such as design and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) certifications for professional applications.
HP and Adobe worked closely together to optimise the total system experience for customers. Close relationships with ISVs help ensure HP Z Workstations are fully supported, optimised and certified for use with Adobe CS5 applications displayingthe “Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium Optimised System” logo.
The Adobe software is immediately available in English and will be localised into French, German, Italian and Spanish from August 2010. Adobe users can easily upgrade their computer with additional memory or hard drives to take on new tasks as required.
