We’re offering ONE lucky DP reader the chance to win a day at Knowsley Safari Park to attend a Wild Arena Macro Master Class worth £180. Not only will the lucky winner get to spend a day in the custom macro studio at Park Farm in the heart of Knowsley Safari Park photographing everything from Geckos to Tree Frogs, they will also have their images featured in the July issue (issue 124) of Digital Photographer magazine.

It almost goes without saying that this day will be invaluable for anyone interested in macro photography and especially anyone with an interest in photographing weird and wonderful wildlife. Without exaggeration, this may well be a once in a lifetime photographic opportunity.

To enter, you absolutely must already be a competent photographer with your own DSLR and, in this case, a macro lens. This is a master class so it’s important that you are not an absolute beginner with macro photography and that you already possess an understanding of the basic skills and techniques involved.

It’s also essential that you are able to attend the session on Thursday, 17 May 2012 at Knowsley Safari Park near Liverpool from 9.45am to 4pm. Please remember that you will need to make your own travel and accommodation (if necessary) arrangements in order to attend the day.

For your chance to win, please send a low-res (but clear) MACRO IMAGE (not necessarily wildlife based) to matt.bennett@imagine-publishing.co.uk (with ‘Macro Master’ as the subject line) and a link to an online portfolio, website or gallery. A winner will be chosen from amongst the entries at 10am on Friday, 20 April 2012 and notified that same morning by email.
