Oz Kharawala’s Portraits for Profit Workshop

Team Blog
by
Josie Reavely

So many of you contacted me (and Oz personally, he tells me!) to sign up for the chance to enter the competition for a free place on this workshop yesterday, but there could only be one winner…

The lucky reader who accompanied Oz Kharawala, myself and some of Oz’s paying students yesterday was Jeremy Wilson – a budding professional photographer who felt he could benefit from some of Oz’s expert guidance and business know-how to help take his own career to new heights.

The day took place at Nikon’s headquarters in Kingston, Surrey, where everyone on the course benefitted from the company’s wonderful hospitality and some beautiful surroundings in which to photograph our model for the day – Flick.

Everyone had a fantastic day, and – thanks to Oz’s excellent teaching skills – it wasn’t long before everyone was thinking for themselves and taking great shots.

Look out for the full write-up about the workshop – along with Jeremy’s thoughts on everything he learnt and Oz’s views on Jeremy’s images – in issue 90, on sale 30th November.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter – those who didn’t get picked, don’t be disheartened! Look out for the next opportunity – coming soon!
