This year we have an outstanding range of awards on offer, including a top cash prize of £5000 plus a Royal Photographic Society gold medal.

Whether you win or not, IGPOTY has something to offer everyone. Uniquely among photography competitions, we offer every photographer who enters the chance to receive a personal email critique of their entry from the judges – (once the winners are announced.)

There are seven categories, with awards for single images as well as portfolios. For this year only there is a special award for the image that best portrays the ‘Spirit of the American Garden’.
